Treatment for Individuals

Autism Partnership offers individualized programs implemented by highly trained staff in our clinic, at home, in school and in the community.

In order to achieve the best results from ABA intervention, Autism Partnership provides clinic-based instruction in our New York City office. We strongly believe continuous expert monitoring and support are the key to many of our children’s life-long success. Supplementary services can be provided in schools, homes and community settings.

Using a team approach, each child’s program is supported by multiple members. Each person is critical in achieving the best long-term outcome for the child.

Treatment Analysts conduct 1:1 or group intervention sessions designed to teach communication, cognitive, play, social and self-help skills. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques are utilized during all interventions. Important behavioral goals are targeted including reduction of stereotypic behavior, increasing tolerance, coping with stress and eliminating disruptive behavior. If clinically warranted, Treatment Analysts provide shadow support to children while they attend school or activities with friends in the community. The number of weekly interventions hours is determined by the individual needs of the child: age, functioning level, length of treatment, school placement, etc. Direct intervention ranges from 15 to 40 hours per week.

Treatment Coordinators (TC) provide assessment and program development. They monitor progress and make necessary refinements in the child’s program plan. Treatment Coordinators supervise and assist staff and parents with proper program implementation. They support all team members and parents in becoming a “behavioral expert” for the child. Treatment Coordinators are also involved with data review, report writing and facilitate communication with the school program.

Program Developers (PD) provide evaluation, program development and modification, behavioral observations and as necessary, psychological testing. Program Developers are involved in individual consultations with the family and Treatment Coordinator, as well as supervision of staff through clinic meetings.
